Home visits in Hertfordshire
Professional earwax removal at home
How our home visits work:
- Scheduling Your Visit: Contact our team to find a time that suits you. One of our qualified practitioners will then arrive at your property fully equipped with portable, clinical grade instruments.
- Detailed Ear Examination: Your safety is our priority. First we discuss your symptoms and visually inspect your ears to confirm if wax is indeed the issue.
- Advanced Microsuction: When treatment is needed, we use state of the art microsuction technology. This gently and accurately vacuums the wax away, providing a highly comfortable and pain free solution.
- Final Checks & Aftercare: The entire process generally takes between 20 and 45 minutes. Once the blockage is cleared, we perform a final health check on your ears and provide you with simple, easy to follow aftercare guidance.

FAQs
We charge a transparent, flat rate of £120 for our mobile earwax removal service in Hertfordshire. This covers the practitioner’s travel, a comprehensive ear health check, and the microsuction procedure itself. Should you prefer to visit our local clinic instead, the same premium treatment is available for a reduced fee of £70.
There is no special preparation needed. Simply provide a comfortable chair and access to a standard electrical outlet so we can plug in our medical equipment. Our practitioner brings everything else required to conduct a safe and hygienic appointment. Some tips:
- Choose a quiet, well-lit area where you can sit comfortably (a dining chair works well).
- Ensure there is a nearby plug socket.
- Keep pets and distractions to a minimum during the appointment.
- Allow a little space for the clinician to work beside you.
That’s it – everything else is taken care of for you
Yes, absolutely. We actually recommend having a loved one or friend present, especially during our full hearing assessments. A familiar voice is very helpful, and companions are always welcome whether we are at your home or in the clinic.
Yes, however to ensure the highest standard of clinical care and the most appropriate environment for younger clients, children’s earwax removal is only carried out at our fully equipped clinic.
We take a very patient, calming approach to ensure both you and your child are completely at ease.
